Free planning tool / Checked 3 November 2026
How many email sends does your newsletter need?
One newsletter to 500 readers uses 500 sends. A welcome sequence adds more. Work out your requirement before you choose an email plan.
This calculator checks numerical capacity only. It does not test software, quote a paid plan, measure deliverability or determine whether a workflow is available. Your entries stay in this page; no signup is needed.
Your example: 2,140 sends per month
Conservative planning estimate: (500 + 20) × 4 + 20 × 3 = 2,140. Assumes every new subscriber receives every newsletter and the full welcome sequence in the same month. Peak list size: 520.
MailerLite Free: exceeds the 250-subscriber ceiling. Brevo Free: a single newsletter to 520 contacts exceeds its 300 daily sends before other emails. Review paid plans if same-day delivery matters.
How to read the result
The estimate deliberately counts new subscribers in all of this month’s newsletters. If they join later, actual sends may be lower. It assumes no unsubscribes, no other automations and one send per person per message. Add reminders, resends and transactional messages separately where they share an allowance.
Limits used in this tool

| Brevo Free | 100,000 stored contacts | 300 per day, unused sends do not roll over |
